Biography
Pierre Fréaud holds a Master 2 in Law and Market Regulation from the University of Paris IX Dauphine and a Master 2 in International Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
He joined Magenta in September 2019 after completing several internships in the competition departments of Orrick Rambaud Martel, BDGS and Kramer Levin and within the French Competition Authority and the European Commission. He was also an intern in the Legal Department of the Valeo group in Shanghai.
Pierre Fréaud works on every aspects of French and European Competition Law,both in counselling and litigation . He assists the firm’s clients in litigation and in merger control’s procedures before the French Competition Authority and the European Commission. He also counsels on Distribution Law and Restrictive Competition Practices before Commercial Courts as well as in arbitration matters (particularly franchise law).
Finally, Pierre Fréaud is a member of AFEC Jeunes. He also regularly intervenes in universities to teach courses on Competition Law.
