Deadline

Determined to meet its clients’ expectations, Magenta agrees with them beforehand on the date and time when its work should be completed. Providing its services on time, possibly early, is one of Magenta’s commitments.

Delivery

Magenta tailors its services to the needs and expectations of its clients.

Whether they look for a general overview of a particular problem or a specific practical advice, Magenta presents its services as legal consultations, summaries or concise emails, together with practical recommendations.

As a matter of efficiency, a summary of our conclusions is always attached to any note or memorandum longer than 5 pages.

Costs

As a general rule, Magenta’s services are charged by reference to the time spent on each assignment. Hourly rates applied by Magenta are linked to the level of experience of each particular lawyer.

However, depending on the nature of the work assigned by its clients or in the light of an established relationship with its clients, Magenta may agree to specific terms of business:

  • Preferential hourly rates (discount based on the amount of fees, blended rate, etc)
  • Fee agreement setting a fixed fee for the entire assignment
  • Fee agreement setting a fixed fee together with a success fee

These agreements will be put in writing prior to the beginning of the assignment.

Finally, anxious to be as transparent as possible towards its clients, all bills of costs will come together with a schedule setting out the particular tasks performed by each of its team members on a daily basis.
